City of San Diego Councilmember Kent Lee has announced his intention to introduce a ban on all Rodeos moving forward, without seeking input from any stakeholders! This misguided policy ignores generations of heritage and culture in San Diego expressed by our Indigenous, Black and Hispanic cultures and the heritage of the American West. Nobody cares more for animals than those who put on the Rodeo.
